X-34

X-34 Space Plane

I designed and built this model to compete at NARAM 56 National rocket contest held here in Pueblo Colorado.  It is constructed entirely out of wood.  It has a light layer of fiberglass cloth over it, primed with Krylon spray primer and painted with Createx water based paints. IT was designed to be flown by radio control during and boost and descent.  First and second flight attempts used a 29mm F26 motors.  Even though my X-34 took top honors in scale points it never completed a successful flight.
