I just made this this past week, 3-22-2010.  I will use this machine to create hollow plastic parts for my GOA rocket. It can of course be used to create any hollow molded part. The pictures below show a large model rocket taped in place for size comparison. Basically the machine rotates in all dimensions. You secure a female mold inside the machine. A liquid polymer is place inside the mold. When the machine is turned on the liquid flows though out the entire inside of the mold.  With in ten minutes the liquid hardens and you end up with a hollow plastic part.
